There’s that question that I personally hate, “How old are you?”
Why? Why do you need to know?
Is it because you can’t figure it out and need confirmation or is it because you want to see if I really look my age?

So what’s the big deal about telling you my age? Well, why do I have to?  It keeps me more intriguing. Personally, I think that’s rather a personal question. Some things should just be kept a secret.

They say you’re only as young as you feel. Well, some days I feel 25 & other days I feel about my age. But regardless, I truly believe that I am still too young to be the age I am. So is it that I’m young at heart? More like where the heck has the time gone?

I’ve been asked if my kids are my siblings and of course that just puts a smile on my face. My children don’t think it’s amusing as I’m “old” in their eyes. Maybe that’s a little far fetched but is it? I was carded the other day. It’s been a long time but what a feeling! Maybe he was blind? No, he definitely could not tell my age.

I have to say that I do have some good genes from my parents. They both have great skin and I’ve inherited that. Thank goodness! Which is why my age may be hard to read. I have though, forbidden my parents to stop calling me their oldest daughter when they talk about me. Why not just talk about me using my name or say my firstborn? Don’t you think if you know me and my family, you’d know that already? I’ve also forbidden my parents to stop telling people my age. I told them to tell those busybodies to ask me and not them.

I have told people that “I just turned 55” (at that very moment of course, I’m 55). You should see the look on their faces. Priceless!

Well, I supposedly have another birthday coming up in a few weeks. How old will I be?  That’s hard to say. My number is unlisted ……

The Bucket List

Everyone has a bucket list.Whether you write it down or think about it,everyone has one. It may be something simple,it may be a long lenghty list but we all have one.
It does vary from person to person but in the end, the meaning is the same. We all want to do,see, feel, touch or try something before we die.
Some just don't want to think about it because it is in reality a "before I die" list. But why wait till we're old and by then perhaps to late to do what's on your list? Why not start now?
So what's on the average list anyway? Climb a mountain? Swim with sharks? Meet someone famous?
My bucket list?? Well, I'd love to travel to Italy. I want to see Rome,Milan,Tuscany! I want to sit in front of the Trevi fountain & have my picture taken! Maybe try my hand at comedy.Although my kids don't think me funny,I've been told I am. Can you see me,as a comedian? I also want to meet a few actors/singers. Laugh all you want but you know you want to! Maybe you're not the star struck type but imagine meeting that one famous person...
Let me add, professional blogger to my bucket list. After all, the sugar daddy thing isn't working out so I might as well try this and perhaps become famous enough that it'll be cash worthy which will help me to travel and as I sit in front of the Trevi fountain having my picture taken,I can say DONE. Next...
Whatever your bucket list, do it!

Wish you could

If only we could speak our mind every time. Sometimes keeping it bottled up inside & irritating the crap out of us just isn't worth the headache!
True, sometimes it's better to stay quiet but at what cost?
Is your co-worker,friend or family irritating you? Could you possibly just tell them politely? Or would it have more effect if you could just flip and relieve some stress?
There are days when just saying it like it is,is just a stress re-lever. Some people just need to be told so they can shut the hell up. I mean they just complain about everything, are just not happy and want a pity party.  Get over yourself! You are not the only one in this world that is either sick, constipated, hot or cold, tired or just annoyed for some stupid reason.
Granted everyone needs to vent at one point or another but ALL THE TIME???!!
Thank goodness there is always a few things that can make the day better: a piece or two of chocolate,a glass or bottle of wine,a little retail therapy or a good ear from someone that hasn't pissed you off.

Wish you could
